Before I go any further let me first assure you that I'm no Science Fiction fan - I yawn in the face of Star Trek, I snigger at the mere mention of Arthur C. Clarke - until a very short while ago I rolled around laughing whenever I heard alien theories. Never have I read a Science Fiction book and never shall I read one either - besides I don't think I'll need to. Because Science Fiction is all around us - only there's no fiction involved.

The truth is, I once laughed heartily but I never actually examined those alien theories, and now that I have done, well, I'm not laughing. Naturally I still have a titter now and then, but only because each time I look deeper, it becomes clearer that a great big practical joke is being played on us all.
